The Automatic Chicken Waterer is designed for farm workers with mobility, arm, or back impairments and back injury, disabilities involving balance/core stability, cancer, cerebral palsy (CP), cognitive disability, diabetes/diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia, foot pain, hand injury, hip pain, knee pain, lumbar/low back pain, mobility impairment, multiple sclerosis (MS), muscular dystrophy, obesity, old-age, paraplegia, prosthetic limb, qQuadriplegia, replaced joints (arthroplasty), scoliosis-kyphosis-lordosis, shortness of breath, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), vertigo, rheumatoid arthritis (hands, wrists, knees & feet), and those with osteoarthritis (weight bearing joints) to allow them to supply water to chicks, chickens, and other poultry without carrying buckets, opening waterers, or dragging hoses. This adaptive equipment is designed because standard chicken waterers require lifting, flipping and twisting to open and refill. In addition to that, carrying water pails may weigh 40 pounds, and it requires good balance and grip strength to drag water hoses to livestock pens.
